Activating the picture plane with one color of ink was the main goal of this project. I have a deep interest in the cosmos, and I highly value my personal space. I combined these ideas to create this work; carved from linoleum and printed using a press in a run of 5 on hosho paper. Full size: 16" wide x 18" height. This project was awarded a Gold ADDY in illustration and Student Best of Show at the 2018 SDAF ADDY Awards; awarded a Silver ADDY at the 2018 District 8 ADDY Awards. (2017)
